We have been coming to this location pretty well since it opened. It is nicely situated on the South West corner of Simcoe and Beatrice streets. This gives access from both Simcoe and Beatrice. There is lots of comfortable seating always a very friendly bunch of customers. Also to add, the restaurant is licensed. The staff, both serving and preparing are excellent. Out of the many servers we have dealt with (feeling bad about picking a favorite) is Amanda. As soon as she sees us she knows exactly what we will order ..... haddock and chips plus two - or three, excellent mushy peas. Not all H House locations serve them.
Was late coming to pick up my order, they were 5 minutes from closed and had thrown it out because they thought I was not going to show up, they had called me, I just didnt hear the phone go off. They stayed late to remake it for me even though it was totally my fault. Couldnt ask for more, they really went above and beyond and the food is fantastic.
Very clean and tidy family type restaurant. The decor really does have a fun "seaside" feel to it. The value and quality of our meals was top notch and our server was very attentive and super friendly! Definitely a place to make a regular stop!
Great for any meal breakfast services till 2pm I believe and fish and chip cooked fresh when ordered.
I had the one piece Halibut dinner. It had one good sized piece of of halibut nestled on a bed of fresh cut fries. Also a nice vinegar based Coleslaw on the side. The fish was cooked to perfection and tasted light and fresh. Loved the halibut with its golden crispy batter and light flavor. The chips were good old basic fresh cut fries. This is a great place to go for halibut, I will be back again for sure.

The service and atmosphere here is great. I only ordered some fish tacos for my first time, and they were pretty good. The prices are also reasonable. They also have a huge variety. Overall, it would absolutely come again.
